eBay above the law?
Just had a heated conversation with an eBay customer service staff member about a dispute that I had opened and they have closed and refused the refund.
I explained that under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 I have the right to return a product for a full refund within 28 days. I have 14 days to change my mind and a further 14 days to return the item. She told me that she understands our laws but eBay have a policy to adhere to. She didn’t quite get the concept that eBay’s policies are NOT above the law.
They are refusing to allow me to return an item for a refund within the legal timeframe
Who do eBay think they are, far to big for their own boots. Reporting this to Trading Standards. They need bringing down a peg or two.
